Kuchen in Kolumbien?
Worum geht's?
Ich spreche Spanisch, habe das Sesshaftigkeitsprojekt (vorerst) für beendet erklärt, liebe mein Handwerk und Versöhnung & Gefängnisarbeit sind mir schon lang sehr wichtig. Daher scheint auf folgender Stellenbeschreibung mein Name zu stehen:
- Ausbildung von Strafgefangenen in Gefängnissen in Medellín
- Entwicklung von Konzepten für die berufliche Reintegration von Strafgefangenen
- Unterstützung der Versöhnungsarbeit zwischen ehemaligen Guerillas und Betroffenen von Gewaltverbrechen durch gemeinsame Arbeitsprojekte
Job angeschaut (2018), entschieden auszureisen und Fortbildung gemacht (2019), Leben in Deutschland gekündigt und ausreisebereit (2020) und was dann passiert ist, könnt ihr euch denken. Wie das manchmal halt ist und weil Pläne da sind, um (von Pandemien, einem Studienplatz, anderen coolen Jobs etc.) geändert zu werden, sitze ich immer noch in Deutschland und träume von Kolumbien. Der Einsatzplan steht nach wie vor, doch zuerst gibt es hier noch einiges zu tun. Auch wenn ich vorerst keine drei Jahre in Südamerika leben werde, gibt es in nächster Zeit ein paar Abstecher über den großen Teich. Mehr dazu im Blog...

What's it about?
I speak Spanish, settled life turned out to be not really my thing (yet), I love my job and I do care for reconciliation & prisoners. So, somehow the following job description seems to have my name on it:
- Teaching prisoners in jails in Medellín
- Developping concepts for reintegrating prisoners
- Supporting reconciliation between former guerillas and victims of violent crimes by work projects.
Checked the job (2018), decided to do it and started preperations (2019), gave up life in Germany and ready to leave (2020)... and you can imagine how the story continued. Life happens and so do pandemics, study plans and other cool jobs and in the end I am still in good old Germany, dreaming the Colombian dream. The plan is still to leave for South America at some point but first there are a couple of things to around here. Which doesn't mean there can't be shorter trips over the ocean. Read more here....
